Project 1 A&B
Week 1
As for this week, Mr Martin just gave a brief explanation on what we are going to do for our first ever task which is a Physical Collage. For this week, he only asked us to compile newspapers, magazines or any sort of printed materials. He even showed us a video example of Mr Fauzi doing a Physical Collage.

Week 2
After our lecture session about composition, Mr Martin gave us time during our Practical lesson to finish our 3 Physical Collage compositions. Below are the collage compositions that I came up with.

Figure 1.2 Composition 1
For the first one, the meaning behind this composition is to show what a person would typically have in their smartphone gallery. The main subject, the smartphone that is present in the composition is placed in the direction of how a person would usually use to take pictures. As for the piles of elements that were placed on top of the composition, they all represent the examples of pictures that the person would have in their phone gallery. The piles of elements included pictures of food, family photos, selfies and pictures of scenery.

With the use of the same set of elements, I decided to place the piles of photos on the bottom part of the composition. I also decided that I change the phone facing position to the screen facing the viewer as if all the pictures came fluttering out of the gallery app.

Mr Martin looked over all of my physical collage compositions. He gave feedback saying that he understands the idea behind my composition work just that it could be presented in a better way. For my first 2 ideas, he mentioned that the elements could be arranged maybe in milky way form or a river form.
After receiving the given feedback from Mr Martin, I worked on improving my second composition (Figure 1.3). Below are some improvements I've made for my second composition.

Week 3
For this week, Mr Martin gave an explanation on our next task which is to do a Digital Collage. For this task we are given a set of images that we have to use to make up 3 different composition. The image below shows the elements that we had to use. The images below are the elements we have to use for making our digital collage.

From the elements that were given to us, I worked on creating 3 of my digital collage composition. Below shows the final 3 that I was able to come up with:-

Week 4
For this weeks lesson, Mr Martin looked over all the Digital Collage Compositions, Mr Martin looked over my 3 compositions and among the 3 compositions he said that I should work on my second composition (Figure 2.2 Composition 2). He gave some feedback saying that maybe I could add in some words on top in the sky area so the sky doesn't look empty.
After receiving the feedback, I started working on improving my second composition idea. Below is the updated look of the composition.
