INSTRUCTION

Exercise 1: Personal Gaming History

For our first ever exercise, we are required to do a presentation of our personal gaming history. In this exercise, we are required to showcase to the class on what games that we have played and were significant throughout our life (from childhood - now).

After receiving the task, I decided to quickly work on it since it was quite a simple task to complete. Below is a PowerPoint presentation that I have prepared regarding My Personal Gaming History.

Exercise 2: Culture References In Games

In this task, we are required to do a 5 minute video presentation regarding Cultural References in any video game of our choice. Since my group has 5 people, we all decided to take a minute each for the video presentation.

In my video presentation, I decided to talk about a game that is well known to take real life cultural references which is Genshin Impact. There are many aspects in the game that are culturally influenced so I decided to scope it down to a grand event that is always held every year to which they call it the Lantern Rite Festival. Below is my video presentation regarding the event.

Exercise 3: A Non Digital Game that Got Popularized after being Digitalized

In this task, we are required to do a video presentation about a non digital game that got popular when it is digitalized. My group decided to come up with a PowerPoint presentation slide first before recording our video.

The game that we decided to do is Among Us though it is not directly converted from a non digital game but the game was inspired and based off well known non digital games which is Mafia and Werewolf. Below is our collaborated PowerPoint slide that we came up with for this exercise.
