As we have completed our project 1, Mr Martin briefed us on what we had to do
for our next Project which is Project 2. In this project, we are split into
two groups morning session and afternoon session. We each both have to
recreate screenshots of clips given by Mr Martin.

After being divided into two groups, Mr Martin later on briefed us on the
roles when doing a film shoot. These are some of the list of roles included:
- Actor 1
- Actor 2
Crew Members:
- Director / Assistant Director
- Director of Photography / Assistant Camera
- Lighting Crew
- Art Director
With the given list of roles, each one of us decided to choose which role we
all wanted. I decided on becoming the Assistant Director along with my other
groupmate Yi Qing.
As the chosen role of Assistant Director, Yi Qing and I are assigned to come
up with the shooting schedule and the crew list. Below is an example given by
Mr Martin on what us Assistant Director have to do.

After the planning and scheduling for the shoot, The day of the shoot came. Below are some pictures taken whilst we were doing the film shoot.
After the completion of the shoot, one of my group members Dhanveer exported the clips into his laptop and shared a google drive link for us to look over the clips as well as audio we took to edit them as a whole video.

FEEDBACK
REFLECTION
Through this project I was able to experience how its like to be take the role as an Assistant Director. I realized that this role requires you to do more work as compared to being the Director itself. I found the shoot itself to be quite tiring yet fun. I was also quite happy cause I was finally able to meet up with my classmates and work on something together physically. I honestly felt that the short film we did does not really make any sense and wished that we could've done something better but overall it was a really great experience.

In the video, Mr Vinod gave an explanation for our MIB (Module Information Booklet) which talked about what are we to expect in this current module. He then gave out our first task which he wishes to see it completed in the following week. What is Typographic Systems? Week 2 In this weeks lecture, Mr Shamsul talked about the factors of the 5 stages of Design Thinking. Here are the 5 stages of Design Thinking that we discussed during our lessons. 1. Empathize 2. Define 3. Ideate 4. Prototype 5. Testing Although it is a continuous step by step process some designer may need to go back to the previous step as they realized that they may have made mistakes in some of their steps.
